Insurance: Lactation and Feeding Support

Here, you can bring all of your lactation and feeding questions. I’ll assess your concerns and create a personalized care plan that supports your unique goals, complete with resources and recommendations. I provide compassionate, comprehensive support for all feeding situations. During our appointment, we can address breastfeeding, latching, milk supply, nutrition, gut health, pumping, bottle feeding, returning to work, oral restrictions (tongue/lip ties), infant weight, allergies, body tension, and anything else on your mind. Whatever your concern, you’ll be supported. Home Visits: I travel up to 45 minutes from Schriever SFB in Colorado Springs. Online Appointments: Your Zoom link will be emailed shortly after booking. Customized payment plans and sliding-scale options are available. A superbill for potential insurance reimbursement is also provided upon request. Insurance Coverage Insurance coverage for lactation services varies by plan. Many families—especially those with Tricare—have no copay for lactation visits. Some plans do require a copay, and when they do, it is typically similar to (or less than) the cost of a standard doctor’s visit. Your exact coverage will be verified after you complete your patient intake forms. Once your insurance benefits are confirmed, you will be notified of any copays, fees, or out-of-pocket costs before your appointment. All new patient intake forms must be completed before your appointment. These forms confirm insurance eligibility and patient responsibilities. If forms are not completed by appointment time, it will be considered a late cancellation/no-show and will incur the $100 fee. Forms are emailed immediately after booking.
